Sadly, the picture is usually one of the world of work, total unawareness of real potential, and inability to the world outside school. Some pupils overcome this in spite of everything; others are alienated completely. 2-The majority, if not all of our schools, do not tackleseriously the question of careers education. Schools have not started thinking seriously about the methods, which can help pupils prepare for the decisions that will affect their lives as adult workers.
