CONTEXTE :
Nos milieux de vie sont mal entretenus et constituent des sources de plusieurs maladies. Pour une
bonne santé, un environnement saint s’avère indispensable.

The environment is you and all living and non living things around you. This includes
people, plants and animals. It includes rivers, hills and valleys. It also includes the schools,
airports, factories, cars, baseball fields and other thing made by people. The air you breathe,
the water you drink, and the land you live on also make up an important part of your
environment. Having a healthy and clean environment is important for your health.
Unfortunately it is not the case. The way we live often causes pollution. Pollution is the
changing of the air, water, and land from clean, and safe to dirty and unsafe. It affects the
environment. Rains wash the soil and dissolve many elements that plants need to grow.
Also, insects clear the forest floor of fallen leaves which reduce the amount of humus
in the soil. The major components of those tropical rain forests soils are iron and aluminum.
